Television

My mission is to effect positive change, whether by sparking debate on a TV panel or getting people to think about a story of the day from a different angle.

Sky News - The Papers

After 4 years reviewing #TomorrowsPapersToday on BBC News, I am now on Sky News’ seat-of-the-pants live show each month, looking at the stories making the front pages.

Whether it’s Reform topping the polls in the UK, Trump/Vance v Zelensky, or Anora winning Best Film at the Oscars 2025, my perspectives and insights drawn from my clinical work, research or travels will always generate debate.

Sky News - The Papers

Preparation is absolutely key, making me completely at home analysing the biggest stories that will be setting the news agenda, both in the UK and beyond.

GB News

Storming ahead in the ratings, new(ish)-kid-on-the-block GB News divides opinion - much like its guests.

Yes, there’s feisty debate, but at least all voices get to be heard. Who wants to live in an echo chamber?

Good Morning Britain

While having an ice-cold microphone pack clipped to your bra isn’t the loveliest feeling in the world, getting the chance to debate the stories that really matter to viewers – and verbally jousting with Presenters who have turned playing devil’s advocate into a professional sport – really is!

You are always paired with another guest with opposing views to yours, but this just means an issue is properly debated from all angles, and continues to be so in social media long after the show has finished for the day.

Jeremy Vine on 5

Whether it’s Trump’s tariffs, or whether crisps should ever be in a sandwich, Jeremy’s lively, daily show on Channel 5 is a privilege to be a part of.

Not only have I dissected the burning topics of the day, and been turned into a GIF, I have made good friends with fellow  panellists – usually the ones you wouldn’t imagine, since we disagree when we’re live on air: I’m looking at you Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, Owen Jones, and Amanda Prowse.

This Morning

I am one of the roster of Agony Aunts supporting the wonderful Deirdre Sanders. It’s powerful live TV, as people phone in for advice from me, and the chance to feel heard.

From how to survive infidelity, to how to ‘break up’ healthily with a best friend, the topics are always relevant to viewers, which is why it remains one of the most relatable shows on television.
